Junior's Rub for Grub has caused quite the stir over the years! Our popular rub was named for several awards, and our owner and PitMaster  Junior Urias was featured on several cooking television programs and his food was showcased all over the world, including Sweden.

Our story begins in a West texas town

At Up In Smoke BBQ, we strive to offer our customers the best possible service along with the most amazing BBQ around. We’ll provide you and your guests with an unforgettable culinary experience. 

Junior Urias, owner and operator of Up In Smoke BBQ, has been a BBQ master for decades here in Midland Texas, cooking in cook-offs across the country for more than 15 years. Junior was the 2014 BBQ Pitmasters Texas Champion, which was filmed in Florida and aired on Destination America. Junior still holds the title of BBQ Pitmaster Texas Champion and has also won numerous Grand Champions and Reserved Grand Champions across the country. In the past, our head chef and owner has encountered famous chefs such as Guy Fieri and he is well known for his BBQ rubs, sauces and unique technique.
