Our story begins in a West texas town

Junior Urias, owner and operator of Up In Smoke BBQ, has been a BBQ master for decades here in Midland Texas, cooking in cook-offs across the country for more than 15 years. Junior was the 2014 BBQ Pitmasters Texas Champion, which was filmed in Florida and aired on Destination America. Junior still holds the title of BBQ Pitmaster Texas Champion and has also won numerous Grand Champions and Reserved Grand Champions across the country. In the past, our head chef and owner has encountered famous chefs such as Guy Fieri and he is well known for his BBQ rubs, sauces and unique technique.
Yes we are now open. Up In Smoke BBQ Junior will still be serving his famous BBQ at the new location. See you at the restaurant.
